As part of their field experience and community outreach program, our pupil teachers visited the slum areas in Kud, where they had the opportunity to interact with the nomadic families residing there. The visit aimed to understand the living conditions, educational needs, and challenges faced by the nomadic community. During the interaction, the pupil teachers engaged with children and adults, learning about their lifestyle, culture, and struggles related to health, hygiene, and education. They also shared awareness about the importance of cleanliness, basic education, and government welfare schemes available for marginalized groups. This visit was a deeply enriching and eye-opening experience for the pupil teachers, as it not only enhanced their social understanding but also instilled in them a sense of empathy, responsibility, and commitment towards inclusive education. The experience served as a reminder of the crucial role educators play in reaching out to every section of society.
